Where Do You Need Help?

I’m committed to your success.  Because the more successful you are, the better it is for the whole profession.  That’s the reason I started this Success Blog, conduct my Tele-Seminars and do the other things I do.  

Now I’m trying to finalize my travel and project calendar for 2010 and would like to know how I can provide you with the most help.  So won’t you share your thoughts below?

Is there a specific topic you would like a live seminar about?  A particular generic recruiting tool you’d like to see me provide?  Certain training you’re looking for in this blog, Tele-Seminars or webcasts?  Please let me know how I can help you the most, as we lock arms and advance this wonderful profession we share.

    1. Hi I have a suggestion for you.. If you are not yet a team member an idea would be to get a group of people together and let your company 3rd party tools do the work at your event ,dvd, etc. have some one in your upline ready by there phone at a certain time incase there are questions. the presentation will bring new team members, have applications ready for them to fill out, with there 1st orders that should cover your cost to sign up. keep to the point, don’t make it long ,if possible have some samples of your product ready and personal testimonys of how wonderfull your product is..

  2. I have been reading your mail and have greatly benefited form them as well. But i have the problem of putting the story back to drawing board as regard networking and managing leads.
    Please can you help me come out of this as I would like to be a better person in being successful in what i do?

  3. Hi Randy,

    I struggle with what to say to a prospect on the first connection and also I talk to lots of people but they don’t follow through on what they have promised eg attend a meeting or connect to a conference call. Some of them like what they see but don’t commit to signing up. I do lots of personal development and try and use third party tools do most of the talking.

    Any idea’s on how I can improve?

    I’m enjoying your book immensely! I’m new to network marketing, so for me it’s prospecting and getting sign ups. Until I start getting sign ups, this new business venture does not seem real yet.

    Also, my biggest hurdle is getting people of the negative stigma when they hear it’s network marketing. I’ve had several very interested people, who backed out when they heard it was network marketing. Even after a thorough explanation of how legitimate it is, they still didn’t change their mind…ugh 🙁

    This is a wonderful idea.
    I think it’s more easy to register and find new team member than keeping them in a team. I’m reading some books about team, leadership…. and some idea about a kind of team spirit appear.
    So maybe you could help distributors and share with us how it’s possible to built a team with an “honnor code”, how sharing same values and stay connecting ????

    I do enjoy all your newsletter and trainings, they are wonderful.
    However, the area I have problem which i want you to help me is in the area of Recruiting, prospecting, follow up and more especially how to keep the present distributors in the business for life. i have find out that some people we registered in the business do back out after 3 or 4 months of their enrollment. this is giving me draw back in my business.
    It is quite unfortunate that none of your books or video CD can be found in mu Country NIGERIA. It has been long i’ve been looking for any of them.

Your ideas are right, but it just is not the same here, it does not work the same way everywhere. Generally yes, but in details and practice not.

  13. The 1st two days, two weeks and two months are critical to continued success for most. What specificially do I do to keep them engaged in the process. How much and what kind of hand holding do i do. How do I get them past fear to excitement? I only need to hear your voice on a conference call, I guess because I have only ever heard you before.

  14. Hi, I’m so very new at internet marketing. I have a company sponsored website but it was suggested I get my own website, the one listed above. It seems like one company wants me to sell or give their internet marketing dvd to my potential customers in order for me to get customers to my Avon website to buy or sell Avon. This is getting to crazy. How can I sell someone’s internet marketing dvd when I don’t know internet marketing? I am goal driven and want to change my current lifestyle now. I need material and support that will make me a success. When I have success, then I can help others succeed. Thanks, Neale

    1. You must first become a product of the product (do you use AVON products and if so what do you like about them) You must first have a firm belief in both the products and the company you have chosen. Your belief in the products is what will attract people to you and result in new customers for the products (samples) and in turn some of those clients will become distributor’s as they develop their belief in the products. Start with the basics and work your way from there, don’t try to learn everything before you go to work you will only end up over comp[licating an otherwise simple business. Network marketing is the best vehicle in the world for achieving your dreams but again you need to find the right company and product to call your own. Success is their for the taking but there is a price to pay but it’s a small price when you stay focused on the rewards. Financial freedom is the most amazing feeling you will ever experience. Never take your eye of the prize.

    I would like to see you to a webminar on changing limiting beliefs. It seems to me this 80% of the game,20% is the process on talking to people.
    That’s why we see immigrants without any money become millionaries within 5 to 10 years in this country in a traditonal business like a hair-salon,a bakery, or a plumber.

    I logged in to a webinar you did a while back and thoroughly enjoyed it. It seems like you can reach a tremendous amount of people through this medium. Of course I think the biggest area of our business that people need help on is inviting skills, secondary recruiting and leadership. Thanks for all you do!!

  19. How to get people pass listening to acting instead of saying that sound good to doing, that is being a part of the process. I need that in order to move. The CD watching and story telling is not doing it for me.

  21. I love XXXX and I believe in it. The main problem I find in the county where I live, is people’s strong scepticism about network marketing. UsualIy I get people interested – who like the products and are looking for a source of income, but when they hear it is network marketing, immediately they back out. Even after a thorough explanation of how legitimate it is, they still don’t change their mind. they close completely! It must be a way to overcome this situation! How??

I have found giving people a book titled Beach Money works very well to enlighten them to the real potential of network marketing you might try giving the book along with your opportunity presentation. The author is Jordan Adler and he spoke not long ago at the Mastermind conference. the book is simply written and a quick read. Good luck♠

  22. Randy: I knew you last november, in Bogota-Colombia. I speak spanish and my English is very bad, is better your Spanish than my English.

    In Colombia we have a problem with the recruiting tools. The north american’s image in the videos is not apropiate for us. How can we get or built the same tools, but with images from Colombia or S.A.?.

    Sorry, I can’t do a better explanation about our case, but I hope you understand me.

  23. Hi Randy,

    For me an important topic is how you keep motivated and your team motivated when no one is really making it big in the business. I have seen people do great their first month but as soon as their downlines stoped recruiting or didn’t recruit they started falling out.

    I do understand the system and that its all about you and how you focus but I wonder if there are some hints on how we deal with that inner you that sometimes can’t get out of the hole and move.

  24. Hi Randy, It would be great if you could do a generic, live, updated and shorter version (maybe 30 minutes) of your NM presentation. A presentation that could be sold on DVD or online as well – much like Tim Sales does with Brilliant Compensation. One thing I’ve always felt your great at is connecting people to their dreams and it’s often a big missing element in many presentations. The focus is too often on numbers like the trillion dollar wellness industry, momentum, why we’re the greatest company in the universe, etc. I used to think your dream element was a little too hokey and phony, but after gaining some ground experience and since having you as a mentor through your books, teleseminars, and audio programs I’ve some to respect and admire what you do so much more. And especially how you can connect people to dreaming again but that’s what it’s all about. Thanks.

  28. Nobody joins MLM to fail and quit. But that’s what happens almost every time. So if I can help people understand and know what to do BEFORE they join, maybe more of them can actually get things done.

    and until you overcome it you will be not sucessful.

    I thank you for your concern about us who are struggling to get results in the business. I have also experienced the problem of how to get the people you sign in to really get started and stay active. Some just get a position, and then they leave it with that. Perhaps they are coming later on. But when you yourself want a quicker start this really can be an obstacle. I have set my goals for february anyway but could use more fuel to reach them. Looking forward to seeing you here in Stockholm in May. I know what the events meen for the growth of your business.

  35. I need help with time management. I’m working two businesses real estate and MLM and putting in 14 hours a day 7 days a week. I’m 6 months new to the MLM and not having much success but I’m learning how the business works and how to approach, I’ve led two trainings not only for my people but others in our company. I get no support from my sponsor or anyone in my up line, I am mentored by a man from a different group. For the most part I feel like I’m herding cats.

  37. Hi Randy, thank you for your mentorship and trainings to help elevate this profession. Your cutting-edge knowledge and experience assist me in building up my team and myself too.

    And since you ask, I have been wondering for quite a while about this: Is there a way to inculcate critical thinking to our networkers such that they are able to think on the line and be able to handle situations and objections like the top leaders do?

    The reason I ask about this is because I realise that it is easy for some to be natural leaders and able to take up more responsibility and handle their network efficiently due to their critical thinking skills. But some just can’t be that way. And in a way, the kind of skills set just didn’t get duplicate downwards.

    But still, thank you for setting up this platform to share ideas and make things better.

    I’m using your books and other tools to help myself with most areas. But there is one area that I really need some guidance with:

    How did you keep all of your prospect information and appointments and leads (not just warm market but also people that you meet when you’re out and about) organized?

    For example, I was walking home with my kids from school. Just happened to be walking next to another parent and he mentioned that he would love to stay at home. So of course I told him that I had a business opportunity for him to look at and I asked him for his business card which he gave me so that I could contact him to set an appointment.

    I lost his card and I want to kick myself.

    HOW did you keep all of your leads organized when you were building up your organization? I know in the books and tools you’ve authored you mention that you won’t work with someone who does not use a planner. Well, I have a planner and I also have a journal where I keep a running list of warm market as well as people that I bump into. I know Eric Worre also mentioned that he uses a legal pad in addition to the planner, journal (prospect list).

    What’s the procedure?

    Meet person.
    Get that person name/phone.
    Write that person name/phone in prospect list.
    Schedule an appointment with that person.
    Then WHAT DO YOU DO here? Write that person’s name/phone down AGAIN but this time in your planner?

    I know this seems like a trivial concern but I think if I can master this skill I can move forward because I’ve discovered that I can go out and get my 2 new prospects a day fairly consistently but then I get disorganized with all of these names/numbers.

    Please help me with this, I’m really struggling with this particular aspect.

    I am a bit dissappointed by their performance – most of them are recruited outside there without my knowledge which is offcourse ok but I came to realise that they were not given right tools for their recruitments.
