How to Stay Focused
Wow, thanks for the great feedback on the last post of how I can help you better. That will be very helpful for planning future workshops, resources and topics for this blog. Now let’s deal with something very important for your success: staying focused.
This is a leadership driven business, and what leaders do is keep people focused and on track. That starts with you.
Probably the biggest element of this is killing distractions. The problem for most people is that they don’t recognize what distractions are or realize that all distractions are equal. You have to kill them all.
So what are the frequent distractions?
Number one is probably “flavor of the week.” This is when your team hears about a group somewhere else doing something different and they want to try it. Or they want to mix and match what three or four other groups (or companies) are doing.
Systems don’t work when you do part of them, or do them part of the time. They only work when you follow them completely, all the time. This means you need to practice some tough love and be strong on your system.

Thank you Randy for reminding us of this important but often forgotten aspect – leading by staying focussed ourselves.We all have a joint responsibility to hold our system sacred as failure to do so not only impacts members within our team but cross teams as well.

You need to choose your company and put your whole heart into it. If you have a BIG dream, don’t try to cut it up into a number of opportunities – stay focused and committed to that one.
Have a plan to focus on and then stick to it …….Napolean Hill still is revalent today.
