Life as a Rock Star

I was watching an interview with Kid Rock and former baseball player David Wells the other day.  They were joking around about how all athletes want to be rock stars and all rock stars want to be athletes.  Somebody said the actual pecking order goes:

Actors
Athletes
Rock Stars
Michael Jordan

It’s a fun conversation, but they left out an important one:  “MLM Rock Star.”  Which may be the best of all…

You have fame and recognition, but can still go places in public.  You don’t have to live away from your family half the year like many actors, musicians and athletes do.  You really can live a dream lifestyle.

You’ll find people that earn more that top network marketing leaders.  But you won’t find many people that have a better lifestyle than they do.

I can personally attest the perks are amazing:  the bonus cars, trips and cruises, travel to exotic locales, being wealthy, helping others and having fun.  Even better is who you become.  The self-development and personal growth is the most rewarding thing you’ll ever experience in your life.

So how do you become an MLM Rock Star?

The biggest difference between the “grinders” and Rock Stars is culture.  The rock stars create culture in their organization.  The grinders focus on tactics.  When you create the right culture in your organization, your people know what actions to take and duplication happens a whole lot faster.  So how are you doing on this?  Have you created the right culture in your team?

If not, be sure and pick up a copy of my training album on the subject, “How to Become an MLM Rock Star.”  You can find the details here. It can help you a great deal.

  1. Hey Randy’

The way to become an MLM Rock Star, or a Rock Star in any other business is,
“Do what you love and the money will come

  3. Well said! Was just thinking the other day, how hard it must be to be a ‘celebrity’ and not be able to walk peacefully about in public. However, with being an MLM Rock Star, those who know who you are, are people who are at least working their business, succesful, and/or working towards success. They ‘know’ who you are in a different respect. And you’re encounter with your ‘groupies’ is a welcome and pleasant experience, beneficial to both of parties involved. No reason to duck & hide or knock someone’s eyes out, lol!

    As always, great post Randy!

  4. A wonderful post Randy. Network Marketing is not just a product business, it’s a personal development journey with a compensation plan attached to it.

The principles of building a successful network marketing business will always remain the same, no matter how many fancy ways people find to promote on the internet. It will always be a leadership driven business, and a business built on strong relationships.

  5. That’s one of my faves of your stuff because it talks about advanced stuff that you usually don’t get to hear so much of. In fact I don’t think i’d heard it before so yes I definitely recommend it!

My all time fave is your old tape set on how to earn $100k a year in NM. Absolutely love that one – it kept me in the business years ago as I drove round and round my county doing presentations trying to figure out how to do this!!

  6. Great point Randy. What you’re talking about is focusing on creating an environment that’s conducive to people making the right choices. Although culture is important to the productivity of any business, it’s particularly important in NM since here it’s a voluntary army. Nobody has to do anything. Nobody can use positional leadership and force people to do or else… People, however, can want to do it based on the culture established.
