30 Days to Amazing

Last post I promised you that I was going to start a 30-day series for all the subscriber of my MLM Leadership Report.  That has started, but there is a glitch, in that some people didn’t receive the first 2 or 3 messages.  So I am printing them here.

Day 1 – I Believe in You

Day 2 – The 2 Most Important Things about Your List!

The scope and scale you build your network is going to be determined greatly by the candidate list you’re working from. Yesterday I promised to reveal the two most important things about your candidate list. Here they are:

Number one, is the names on it must be CONTACTABLE. You need a phone number or an email, but you have to have a way to contact them. Keep that in mind as you go about your day and are meeting people. It’s vital that you capture a way to contact them.

The second important thing about your candidate list is it needs to be ORGANIC. Meaning it is a living, breathing entity that is always morphing and changing.

One of the worst mistakes new people can make is doing a candidate list once when they begin, then never working it again. You probably meet somewhere between five and 20 new people each week. Not every one of them should go on your candidate list, but a majority should. So you should be adding to it every week. (And of course, deleting the people who do join your business.)

Work your candidate list consistently, make sure the names are contactable, and you’ll always have some qualified prospects ready to approach.

Day 3 – The Big Lie

Yesterday I promised to reveal the big lie about your candidate list. Here it is

The premise that you don’t know that many people, or you’ve already talked with everybody you know.

If a premise is wrong, everything that follows from that premise is wrong. And that premise is pure nonsense.

Let me share with you the real truth, so you can get the best results in your recruiting. At the very LEAST, the average person knows at least 800 people who are contactable. For most people, the number is closer to 3,000. For many, the number is closer to 5,000.

That’s the truth.

And if you sat down with me and allowed me to interrogate you (who did you go to school with, who did you serve in the military with, who used to live next door to you, upstairs, downstairs, who sold you your X, Y and Z, etc., etc.), we could prove that together.

So since we know that premise is dead, it leads us to a very important question…

Does your candidate list have anything remotely close to 800, 2,000 or 5,000 names on it?

If the answer is ‘no,’ then you can probably figure what your homework is for tonight!

  1. How do you approach your warm market list without coming off as a slimy jerk who’s trying to get their friends money?

    I hate how I feel approaching my warm market especially when we haven’t talked for a long time.

My Man Ben i felt the same… But if your MLM oportunity is good enoguh to change your life and you know it could change your friends’ … Why not to tell all of them?.. look this industry is to learn to work with people that you don’t know.. At the beginning your friends gonna think you are crazy but when you succeed they will tell you you were made for this and still not gonna associate with you.. Know this, we need lawyers, doctors, teachers, etcc..

      Be proud of be doing things different to get different result ..

      Keep going and show it to everyone MLM is a numbers game!!!
