Living the Adventure
Let me give you the most important recruiting tip you will ever receive:
Deep down, every person in the world is secretly (or sometimes not so secretly) wishing to live a life of adventure. The day you stop selling vitamins, skin care, or long distance service – and start selling an opportunity to take an adventure – you business will transform forever.
So what’s the adventure?
Learning how to be a real man or a real woman. A real spouse. A real mentor. A person of integrity. A person who serves others. A freedom fighter.
So what about you?
Are you ready to live a life of adventure? And are you offering others that chance?

Thank you Randy, for pointing that out. I have just 2 weeks ago started promoting it as an adventure of your own making and it is true: Results are skyrocketing.
Excellent way to look at it Randy! My future won’t have Mr. Harrison Ford in it, but I love the analogy you’ve used. Bravo! Big ‘ah-ha’ moment re: recruiting. Thanks!
Adventures make stories full of excitement, struggle, victory…people want to be part of those kind of stories!
Excellent.
I knew there is something missing and this post finally awarded me. Everyone want to experience the life of adventure.
Thank you Randy.
Time for an adventure!
Randy,
You rocked at the event in Vegas this past weekend. The story about you taking a shower in an airplane at 30,000ft…priceless!
This is my first comment on the blog ever. I was inspired to share a story after reading your post today. I’m only sharing in hopes that my story may inspire the story of another.
Here goes…
So, I’ve got this close friend in my life who I’ve spoken about my business and encouraged to join my team at least 10 times. After hearing you speak this past weekend something different stirred inside of me.
When I returned home I contacted this person and said, “I’d like you to come over to my house tonight. I want to share my heart with you about why I’m doing this business.”
So, my friend arrived that evening. I preceded to explain that I was on an adventure to change the world. That my life was forever changed after living in an Afghan village for 12 months and seeing first-hand day-in-and-day-out the conditions those Afghan kids were living in.
I told my friend my Great Purpose in life was to “Inspire Hope In 1,000,000 Kids all over the planet. That I believe I’ve been called to fight for the hearts of kids that have few fighting for them.”
I told my friend about the money I donated to the Starkey Hearing Foundation and showed the video that Eric created during his trip there.
I talked to my friend about the 45 kids I’ve been able to give hope to thus far. “Almost there!” I said, with a smile on my face. 🙂
I showed my friend my bedroom and specifically my wall where my vision board is. I showed my friend the picture on my wall of you and me that was taken in Orlando.
My friend asked, “Why do you have that picture hanging on your vision wall?”
I said, “Because when I was in Florida and met Randy he looked me in the eyes and told me he believed in me. That’s something my Dad has never told me. So, every morning when I get up I look at that picture and I see Randy telling me that he believes in me.”
My friend then asked, “Why are you sleeping on the floor?”
I told my friend that when I was in Afghanistan I was in one of the mud homes and I asked the father where all the kids slept and he pointed to the floor.
I told my friend that I knew my Great Purpose wasn’t going to be easy and that I never wanted to let a life of comfort rob me of my calling. So, sleeping on the floor reminds me every day of what and who I’m fighting for.
At this point my friend began to cry. That’s when I began to cry as well. My friend looked at me and said, “I want to be on your team. I want to be part of your Great Purpose.” So, my friend signed up and we are now fighting for this Great Purpose together.
Here’s the interesting point of all that. I wasn’t even prospecting my friend. I hadn’t even brought up the business or the products. I was simply sharing my hearts adventure.
I think that experience I had just yesterday has taught me volumes about being a “real” man.
Thanks Randy!
With humility,
Chris

Looking forward to meeting you one day. My dear friend JR passed a few years ago, .. you and he could pass for twins… He was crazy fun just like you. I know you are a blast to hang out with. I crack up everytime you tell it like it is and realize that so many just let it go right over their heads. Thanks to the powers that be for people like you. Love, DonnaCher
Interesting post… and the comments are positive. I will have to look at my approach again Randy!
Hey Randy,
I love reading your short, but powerful posts. Our business of network marketing is way more than retailing vitamins, skin care or long distance. Our business really is a personal development program with a compensation plan attached to it.
And to bring enlightenment to people, through people is a beautiful and noble thing.
With love and respect,
Wayne

Hey Randy,
