What Do You Most Want to Know?

So I was sitting at Oggi Café, waiting for my spaghettini saludable when I had a brilliant idea. Since I was putting the finishing touches on the tonight’s Tele-Seminar on training, I thought it would be good if you could have a chance to ask questions. So I quick came here and started a post.

So if you have any questions about training your team, speak now or forever hold your peace. Write them below and I’ll get to them as best I can on the program tonight.

Talk to you then!

  1. Hey Randy,
How do you transition training your downline from them just getting started to taking a leadership role in their teams? Thanks!

  2. What do you see as the ideal outline of topics for a standardized training? What is the best form of delivery? CC’s, print, online?
    Thanks, David

  3. I’m in Denmark, which means that the teleconference is at 4 a.m. my time, and ouscch … I just can’t stay awake at that time.
So I was wondering if there’s another way to get to listen to that tele conference, as I really would love to listen to it ? .

  4. How to encourage & INSPIRE new team members to commit themselves to ongoing, regular self-development and training BEYOND the company-specific training (product knowledge, policies, etc.)?

  5. What is the first thing you do to train your team? How do you start their training? Do you train them before they talk to new prospects? How do you train them to talk to their prospects?

  6. What are your thoughts on weekly cross-line “open” meetings? Seems to be lots of pros and cons…

If you’re for them, maybe a good chance to hold training functions after the open?

  7. Hey there Randy, first of all I want to thank you for all that you have done we have met a couple of times and took pictures but you might or might not remember me. Anyway my question to you is what’s the best way to close with a prospect in any market especially cold. I am talking to five people a day and following up with them but I can’t seem to close. I don’t know if it’s me or not since I know it’s a numbers game. I know I will make it but if there is anything you could tell me that could help me please do. Thanks Aharon form LA

  8. With ongoing training, how do you meld in new recruits along with people who have been training for a while? How do you introduce basic principles when others in the room have heard it all before?

  9. How do you provide enough ongoing training, quickly enough, without gobbling up your team’s available time?

  10. If one person have 3 , 6 or 9 months in the business, and have no downlines or just one; How Can He handle the situation, when he have to explain to their prospects that?

  11. What do you do if you’re a leader in a small start up company and want to join another company now (because this company is not growing fast enough)? How do you make that transition and maintain you team culture and your own integrity?

  12. Randy, how do you build a team of independent consultants, rather than co-dependent consultants? Is it just about going through the numbers or is there a way to inspire more leadership? How do you help them to build confidence?
Thank you for asking what I most want to know.

  13. Hi Randy,

What do you do when you have spend a ton of time (and money) training a Leader on your team and when this individual reaches a key position (or major goal)… your upline steps in and “takes over” just prior to the big promotion date… I am sure you know what I am talking about?

My upline who does this is truly a very “smooth operator”… basically she appears at the right time (keep in mind she doesn’t work in the trenches) and charms the new Super Star with praise, gifts, guest speaking appearances (for the new Leader) and totally makes the new person believe that at this point on she (the newly promoted Leader) needs to work with her (my upline) exclusively! On top of it… she (my upline) starts “making deals” and organizes dates for special events with my newest Leader (this doesn’t just happen to me) without my knowledge!!! I have been in the industry (network marketing/direct sales) for many years and I have reached the top with 3 companies without being a “glory seeker” and without being unethical… that is why this types up behaviour that makes another person (Leader) feel inferior is totally unacceptable to me!!! Please let me know what you would do if you were in my boat as it truly effects my business (and growth of my organization) in a negative way… especially since I need my team to respect me as their Leader!!! I have let it go for a very long time… however, I am not prepared to let it go any longer!!!

    Thank you very much,

    Concerned business builder!

  14. Randy,
How do you build a team of independent consultants rather than co-dependent consultants? Is it about going through the numbers until you find leaders or is there a key to inspiring more leadership and confidence?
    Thank you, Lisa

  15. 1. I have built a team of 40 associates and need to step up as a leader. What is most important? What should be done to build culture?

    2. For people that have not done very much, should I do something to re-motivate them and get them going or move on to new people.

  16. Hi Randy,

Do you have a structured framework for training the team? Should we keep it flexible according to needs and situation?

Could you start a FAQ or resource section capturing all the key learnings from your blog and training calls? I think it’s great to have your guidance as we seek to achieve success and financial independence.

    Regards,
    Ray

  17. I hope this fits in with your topic tonight.

My sponsor only teaches cold calling leads; that is the only form of prospecting he does. He is very good at this and even does training for a national lead company but starting new people off at this level is asking a lot in my opinion.

What can I do on my own or should I go above him for help if doesn’t want to teach other types of prospecting?

Thanks for what you bring to the industry.

  18. Hi Randy,

Can you be specific on how you helped your sponsees rank advance? Do you place people only on their outside leg or both side, and why?

    Thank you very much,

    Concerned Member!

  19. Hi Randy,

How do you keep downline members from dropping out? Is there something I can do to help them and maybe keep them from dropping out?

    Thanks.

  20. I am a success in a large company and have added on a second company because I love the products, but have not been able to duplicate my success.

I truly want to succeed but find it challenging both time wise and in prospecting to shed my established persona and break free to prospect in my new company as well.

Other than .. DON’T…what do you suggest?

  21. Hi Randy,

When you start a new group, what are the first components you put together in your training system to create culture?

What do you go over in your first thing first training and new member orientation?

How do set up your culture in your group so that no one leader get overloaded with three way calls?

  22. Randy,

Do feel that a person can only successfully one business?? As in, you can only answer to one master.

Thanks…catch ya on twitter and facebook. Great seminar.

  23. Dear Randy!

I am blessed with your Prosperity Series stuff. It has opened something in me, which I was waiting for long time. Thank you very much!

My question is: If you wanna sum up in one short sentence, how can we built a huge, active organization – that brings real passive income, what yould you say? Don’t forget, you have only ONE sentence for that 😉

    Best Regards,
Wish you Luck, Joy, Happyness, and Prosperity 🙂
