Stop Throwing Up on People!
You know in my new album, I included a disc on using social media marketing to expand your warm market. I originally presented the segment as a Tele-Seminar. Obviously the message is not getting out…
I look at the public stream in my Twitter account and can’t believe how many idiots think the way to build a network is posting ridiculous pitches all day long. They just don’t get it.
Twitter, like any social media site – like any social media function you would attend in person – is a great place to dialogue, connect, and meet people. You develop relationships. And then if the topic of your business is appropriate, you bring it up. Individually. Not throwing up on everyone around you.
Please. Make a link to this post and send it to everyone on your team. If we want to elevate the profession, we have to do our business professionally.

Yes! That has been the problem of some network marketers around the globe.
Is there anything you can do to help us in this matter?
This is exactly why the words, “network marketing” or “mlm” more often than not inspires negative reactions we have to counter, which is really sad.
The savy networkers know that if you sell on Facebook, Twitter, etc it is the kiss of death. People will run away from you and you will lose your credibility. Social networking is a great place to educate people, then people will come to YOU.
I couldn’t agree more! I received two unsolicited prospecting emails from the two different companies just today! It was so tacky – and it just makes our business look bad from the outside.
When will people get the hint and stop throwing up on people?
