Standardized Presentations

The third component to create the best duplication is a standardized presentation. This is the presentation that is done at the major opportunity meetings. You want it to be the same in all markets and on all levels.

Naturally each presenter provides his or her unique flair, personal stories, and humor. But the presentation should follow the same basic outline in all markets. This means leaders can travel thousands of miles or kilometers, work with a team dozens or even hundreds of levels below them, and still be offering the basic presentation outline followed by local leaders.

This makes the presentation “institutionalized” as opposed to just being about personalities.  That makes a big difference for duplication on the lower levels.

  3. Good point Randy. I get what you are saying. Having said that, I have recently spent 3 days creating a new business presentation which I based partly on the presentation being used in New Zealand, and partly on the latest by David and Ann Feinstein. Essentially the main change I have done is to try make the slides more colourful and vibrant. Am I wrong to do this?
