  1. I sent my cousin to buy it for me in Barnes and Noble, and she bought me the previous edition!!! And I realized that, while I was half way through it!

I guess I will have to buy the new one, so you can eat!! I am doing this for you!

  2. I know for sure they won’t have the book here where I am, and mailing it won’t work either, the mail is like a free market for the postal workers especially when they see its from the states… hehehe… so I will check out the e-version…

I couldn’t sleep last night thinking about you needing the money, I was so worried, I hope your doing ok, I will forward my donations and a care package from my friends back in the states. maybe it would be quicker for me to hop on a plane and fly to Amsterdam to and give you my donation in person?

I am so worried; it reminds me of the time Karl Malone asked the caring and loving fans of professional basketball for donations during the horrible ordeal over the basketball strike. I was so worried about those poor guys having to suffer so badly then also.

I quickly found my way to a helpful website and read the following:

    Adopt an NBA player
THE NBA PLAYER ADOPTION PROGRAM NEEDS YOU!

With an NBA player’s strike against the team owners looming, now is the time for us to show the world just how much we care. It’s just not right. Hundreds of basketball players in our very own country are living at or just below the seven-figure salary level! Atrocious! And, as if that weren’t bad enough, they will be deprived of pay for several weeks–possibly a whole year–as a result of the strike. But now you can help! For about two thousand dollars a day–that’s less than the cost of a large screen projection TV–you can help a basketball player remain economically viable during his time of need.

Two thousand dollars a day may not seem like a lot of money to you, but to a basketball player it could mean the difference between a vacation spent golfing in Florida or a Mediterranean cruise. For you, two thousand dollars is nothing more than three months rent or mortgage payments. But to a basketball player, two thousand dollars a day will almost replace his salary.

Your commitment of two thousand dollars a day will enable a player to buy that home entertainment center, trade in the year-old Lexus for a new Ferrari, or enjoy a weekend in Rio.

“HOW WILL I KNOW I’M HELPING?”

Each month, you will receive a complete financial report on the player you sponsor. Detailed information about his stocks, bonds, 401(k), real estate, and other investment holdings will be mailed to your home. You’ll also get information on how he plans to invest the $5 million lump sum he will receive upon retirement. Plus upon signing up for this program, you will receive a photo of the player (unsigned). Put the photo on your refrigerator to remind you of other peoples’ suffering.

“HOW WILL HE KNOW I’M HELPING”

Your basketball player will be told that he has a SPECIAL FRIEND who just wants to help in a time of need. Although the player won’t know your name, he will be able to make collect calls to your home via a special operator just in case additional funds are needed for unexpected expenses.

  3. Hey Randy,

Awesome book! I have never read any previous editions, but that was great and worth the investment. I have a question for you. From what i’ve learned in my six short months in this industry is that recruiting and sponsoring is the most important skill to first develop. You say and preach that approaching 2-5 people/day for 5 days week consistently with a “mass marketing tool” is the recipe for success in this industry. What would you count as being that “person”?? Does it have to be someone you know..ie friend/family/associate, or would you count that as being anyone you meet as you go about your day?? For instance, i met someone the other day at the store who nicely asked what i did, so i brielfy explained and gave him a generic CD. Would you count that as one of your daily approaches?? I agree that sticking signs in the ground and on your car is retarded, but i would love for you to give a good explanation of what you feel are the “2-5 people” per day we should expose a tool to outside of friends/family/people we already know?? thanks!

    1. Nice blog here! Also your website loads up fast! What host are you using? Can I get your afatiifle link to your host? I wish my site loaded up as quickly as yours lol

  4. I savor every word you write Randy. You are a wealth of info and i’m so thankful for you. It works…applying simple steps and it does work. You ROCK my friend !!

  5. Awesome book! I bought it after hearing your Networking Times webinar in June.
I have read it a couple of times & I still revisit chapters as needed. I love the “ladder of escalation” & committing to a weekly exposure number – I told 3 people today about my business and I have a new distributor! Thank you for sharing!

  6. Randy,

Your book is perfect, I tried all those silly techniques and sales pitches to try and get people I did not even know into my business, yeah it worked a little but in no time they were gone! Your book shows the duplication model and how effective it is with people you know. I have just finished your book, and have a new fire under my butt and have 4 new people ready and rockin! I have recommended this book as well as many other books you wrote to my business people, thanks!

    Thanks!
    Rob

  7. Thank you Randy! Everything that I’ve ever learned from you in your Duplication Nation CD set, webinars, training calls, leadership calls, twitter, blog posts–EVERYTHING–has been so nicely packaged in this easy to read and very enjoyable book. Not that I didn’t learn anything new here–I did! But it was such a great reinforcement for me of your training philosophy. I really admire how consistent you are in your message and how successful you have become through your experience in this profession. Thank you for sharing this for all of us in this book. Your generosity is phenomenal and I feel incredibly lucky to be working with you. Can’t wait to see you again in Chicago!

  8. Hi Randy, greetings from Brazil!

It covers from A to Z using wisdom and reality.
It is a must read to anyone serious about building a large organization.
Thank you for sharing your expertise through this great book.

    Cheers

    Ricardo Guimarães

  9. Randy,

I’ve purchased and read the past two editions of “How to Build a Multi-Level Money Machine” and thoroughly enjoyed both. And learned alot! Coupled that with your “Secrets to Network Marketing Success” CD’s and that’s probably the strongest one-two punch for learning and understanding MLM.

What’s your opinion about using a 3-4 minute “sizzle call” as the first introduction tool?

Do you carry and hand out business cards?

Thank you for all that you’ve done for our profession, your contribution and willingness to share your brain cells is greatly appreciated!

    Take care,

    Chad

    1. I have used sizzle calls in the past. but moved away from them now. I think we’re turning into a video world. Personally I don’t use business cards, prefer to give a step one tool.

  10. Randy, I”ve been following your blog, teleconferences and read your new book. All very basic and no nonsense approach to MLM. I recommend you to anyone I know in the biz. I know you asked for a review of the book and it was quite good, but what is your advise(and anyone else reading this blog) to those who must continue to work 40 hours a week and work our MLM business. My challenge is everyone I’ve exposed to my product, aren’t “looking” . I find it amazing that people cannot see the financial freedom they can achieve with MLM, they are too comfortable in their every day existence, yet they complain about money all the time! (small town people with small town thinking!) Church is quite small(less than 50 parisheners), wine club friends just smile and nod, family just can’t afford it even tho my product will help them nutritionally and financially. I brand myself with company apparel and when people bring up their aches and pains I tell them about my product, but again, they just want to complain. You say to look for critical thinkers and higher learners, sure would like to know where they are! Anyone who is in business for themselves are too busy and stressed out to even stop for one minute to listen to you. Our local chamber of commerce members were burned bad with a MLM company, they don’t want to hear of another MLM! My sponsor is struggling as well. I attend meetings in the big towns and experience the excitement and message they bring which is the same as your model, go out and invite people in, tell, don’t sell. I could go on and on………But I hang on and continue to seek and learn after 9 months in the biz. Short of moving out of this small town, what can I do?! I believe in my product and MLM.

  11. Randy,

Your emphasis on the role of the network marketing profession as a means to solve a potential partner’s problem rather than something for distributors to sell, is so right on.

Using a “right brain” approach and emphasizing benefits rather than features, is so attractive and non-threatening.

Thanks for organizing your thoughts and providing yet another 3rd party tool for me to edify as I build my lines.

    Warm regards,

    Mark Schnitzer, MD
