Conquering Fear
One of my team members had a breakthrough this week. (And yes, this time I am talking about you, and you know who you are!) She overcame her fear to make some invitations and was pleasantly surprised with some very favorable responses.
It took a while. But action always cancels out fear. That’s because faith and fear can’t coexist at the same time. So when you feel fear, you must profess faith. Affirm the outcomes you desire and get into massive action.
Fear is just negative goal setting and who needs that? Certainly not you. So let’s forget for the moment about rejection, dropouts and no shows. What is the great thing you want to accomplish this week?

Fear is the number one cultprit to creating what we want. I wrote the book on it! “Conquer Fear!” is my own personal story and step-by-step process to eliminate fear. The greatest of all 3 fears is The Fear of “SUCCESS”.
As you have always coached me Randy, “Success is Created in the Miind First!” That’s where we start to look if we want to “Conquer Fear!”
Great conversation!

When you are in the ‘zone’ there is nothing but the moment. Usually this is used in referenced to a sporting event. There is no fear there either. What bumps you out of the zone? Usually it’s when you begin listening to your ‘narrator’ who has every negative comment you have ever heard memorized to trick you out of the zone. “BOY you screwed that one up!” or “That wasn’t real smart” followed by ‘its’ pet name for you.
What puts you back into the zone? “action always cancels out fear.” and the narrator.
You know Mr Gage…. I hate you for being right sometimes.
Mwah.
Oh and this next week? Booking people into a meeting AND not leaving it to the day before. 🙂
Thanks Dude.
Definition of fear: Anticipation of future pain.
Recipe: Education, participation, goals setting, ACTION. Repeat as needed.
Thank you Randy another jewel for my collection.
Take care
Bernard
You had me at … “conquer fear”.
It’s what I know is keeping me from PUSHING to get my business off the ground.
So strange to know something in your head, but still be unable to get yourself unstuck.
Frustrating. Looking forward to learning more. Er – scratch that — DOING more with what I already know to do!
No one will believe it…
… just as I finished reading this and thinking, “I’m SUCH a looser…” I received an email from my upline asking if I wanted to be part of a **HUGE** new opportunity to get new business.
Holy Cow. Spooky.
Now I’m really terrified!!
Please can I reply to this…
Just because you are “work in progress” re this business does not mean you can consider yourself a looser. Far from it, you have chosen to do something about your life. Give your self some credit, you are already on the journey.
Just ask people about themselves and their circumstances. Find the ones that want to make a change of some sort. It ‘s really not that difficult!

Right on the money Randy; Fear is simply a lack of faith in what you are pursuing. I am relatively new to sales and mlm, having been in the corporate world as an engineer for over twenty years. When I experience fear or anxiety related to presenting my opportunity, I sometimes have to play the entire movie through to see, in advance, what the possible outcomes may be. It always helps me to see that the worst possible outcome, a NO, is not the end of the world and that I probably saved myself a lot of effort in trying to get them to do something they had no intention of doing in the first place.
Basic biblical truths; Do the Right Thing, The Right Way, For the Right Reason.

Randy, you hit the nail on the head.
Thank you.
I just realized by reading this that I’m frightfully afraid that I haven’t developed into enough of a leader to support a team of teams.
I can call, present, close, and sign up partners like a mofo, but fear that if I have too many business partners who want to win that I won’t be able to lead them all.
Hearing myself say it now – I think I sound like a loonie… all I have to do is step up… fill that position with faith that the way will be known to me.
Fear truly is what holds us back from infinite potential. This is the day I step up. This is the week my business explodes because of the faith I take.
Thank you, Randy.
Great, sounds like you’re on your way!

Randy, you always seem to write things that are in my mind!! I did the same thing as your team member yesterday!
I had a particular list to contact people and I still hadn’t contacted them out of fear for almost 2 years! I thought I was such a moron and a total loser (not a good prosperity thing to say in my head) but I just couldn’t get myself to make those calls.
This has been on my mind for so many months. And yesterday, I just couldn’t stand it anymore, finally broke that “spell” and started to dial the numbers. It wasn’t that bad after all!! I was still breathing after that, alive and kicking! And had some good conversations.
I didn’t get the results I wanted but the fact that I was able to conquer the biggest fear I had was definitely the best thing that ever happened to me. Now I know this will start to get me the results I always wanted!
Maybe my breakthrough happened just yesterday but I know that it is all the personal development and learning I have done all these years that helped me conquer that fear.
Thank you Randy for your consistent encouragement. I’m your biggest fan in Japan!!!
Very good!

How did I know…?
Because you are all-knowing!

RG-
Fear is a crazy weird thing. I know it’s in the mind and it can be overcome.
I’m a retired firefighter I would do things and get into very dangerous situations, yet i wasn’t afraid because of my training and willingness to do the job.
When I started my network marketing business I was and sometimes still almost paralyzed with fear to talk to folks. Why??
Now I’m training with help form people like you and John Fogg as in the fire service to be ready and confident to be successful network marketer.
Till next time Watch your top knot and keep your powder dry.

This blog can be quite inspiring, not just Randy but the people who post!
FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real
Overcoming fear is the first step for greatness.
And like Ralph Waldo Emerson once said:
Don’t waste life in doubts and fears; spend yourself on the work before you, well assured that the right performance of this hour’s duties will be the best preparation for the hours and ages that will follow it.
And there is more: If you face your fears, they will disappear as every coward does!
Fear uses Ignorance to get it’s way.
Love you all

Yes, I needed four years to overcome my fears and now – what should I say – five presentations only on monday and tuesday next week.
That´s really great!
It is all in our mind and since I changed my view, I got more self-confidence and just took the phone and called the prospects. 6 prospects – 5 presentations. That´s really a nice first victory.
I wish all of you such a breakthrough who didn´t get it until now.
Best greetings from Austria

I’m very happy to hear this!

It has also been said that fear comes from separation. This makes sense to me. How many lives will be positively affected because I made a conscious choice to make a connection. Responses will vary which is perfectly fine. Affirming one’s desired results and massive action is definitely the key. Yes, affirm and massive action; this is what I want to accomplish this week. Thank you for this!
